Clinicians and artists for the festival are chosen not only for their expertise in their field, but for their ability to provide hands-on interaction with Festival participants.  Our goal is that each participant will leave FLAWR inspired by what they have experienced with the knowledge and tools to build on that inspiration.   Musicians and clergy are encouraged to participate in offerings outside of their discipline.

Worship

Worship is the heart of what we do in the church, and therefore is a central focus of FLAWR.  Participants will experience a variety of liturgies ranging from Anglican Morning Prayer led with plainsong chant to a service of Jazz Vespers featuring the music of Duke Ellington.  Guest clinicians for will serve as homilists and musicians for the worship services.  All worship services are free and open to the public.

Masterclasses

Clergy and musicians will have the opportunity to receive constructive criticism on their craft from guest clinicians.  Selected participants of masterclasses will participate in leading worship services.
